Saturday night found us at the Fairview Tavern with our special guest G.S. Harper who stepped in to handle the vocal duties and add some blistering guitar licks to boot. Big thanks to Marty, Mari, Pat, Wally, Lisa, Ron, Katyana, Amanda, Jimmy, Nate, Joe, Lisa, Denny and Al for coming out to party with us. We had a great time and hope you did too!

Coming up this week, when Friday rolls around, you’ll find us at The Mad Cactus (9175 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, 9pm – 1am) playing your favorite rock and blues hits and partying along with Teddy, Tischa and the Cactus gang. It’s always a blast, so come kick off your weekend with us!

We were unexpectedly off last week due to a cancellation, but we’re back this week so let’s get to it!

On Saturday, we’ll make our monthly appearance at the fabulous Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am). The food is amazing, the service is fast and friendly, the beer is cold and the blues are hot! Come join us and let’s PARTY!

Hi gang!

It’s been another great week, starting with Friday when we appeared at the Parma Tavern. It was an incredibly fun evening! Thanks to everyone who came out, especially Blake! :c)

Coming up this week, regretfully, due to a scheduling issue, our appearance at the Parkview Nite Club on Saturday is canceled. We’ve rescheduled with the venue for January 26, 2013.

Hi gang!

Last week’s 42Eighty show on Friday night was a blast! Thanks to Barb, Erin, Steve, Sandy, Ken, Gary, Laura, Guy, Suz, Mike, Rhonda, Jen, Di, John and Steve for coming out to party with us and to Jess and Natalie behind the bar for keeping us fed and watered all evening!

On Saturday, we debuted at the Grayton Road Tavern. Many thanks to Jen, Cathy, Ron, Amanda, Mark and Ron for coming out and to Brandy and Lori behind the bar. We’re back there in December so keep a lookout on the calendar.

Coming up this week, we return to the Parma Tavern (5680 Broadview Road, Parma, 10pm – 2am) where we’ll rock the night away with your favorite blues and rock tunes. The food is great and the beer is cold, so come out and kick off your weekend with us!

We were off last week, but on Saturday Mike headed down to the House of Blues to catch Wish You Were Here. If you haven’t seen them, you’re missing a very special experience. They always put on a great show! For more info check out www.floydtribute.com

Coming up this week on Friday, we’ll crank out your favorite blues and rock tunes at 42Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick) The show starts at 9:30, but come out early and grab a bite to eat (the food is awesome) and get a good seat. Bring your party attitude and join us!

This Saturday we’ll make our debut appearance at the Grayton Road Tavern (4760 Grayton Rd., Cleveland)! The food is delicious, the drinks are amazing and Miss Brandy will be behind the bar keeping your glass full! Add your favorite blues and rock tunes performed by Shady Drive and it’s PARTY TIME!! Come out and help us rock the house!

Hi gang!

Last Saturday we were back at the Fairview Tavern for our monthly appearance. We held off getting started until our Buckeyes had Nebraska well in hand, and then it was party time! Many thanks to Jen, Jon, Marty, Mari, Chris, Wally, Sandy, Ken, Kate and new friends Diane and Angie for coming out to party with us! Also thanks to Morgan, Heather, L.J., Marissa and Chris for keeping all the plates and glasses full! We had a blast and hope you all did too. :c)

Shady Drive is off this week, but Mike’s headed out to catch Wish You Were Here at the House of Blues on Saturday. There are still some tickets left but not many, so hurry! If you haven’t seen this amazing tribute to Pink Floyd, you absolutely owe it to yourself, trust us. If you have, then you know what we’re talkin’ about!

Hi gang!

Last week was a blast beginning with a trip to Twinsburg and Sassy’s Bar and Grill. We had a great time partying with Jen, Di, Ron, Monica, Laura and the Sassy’s bunch! Thanks for an awesome night!

We were up early the next morning and on the road to Freeport to play a private event. Many thanks to Tom and Jean and their gang for hosting a great shindig and for having us along! Also, big thanks to Chris Hanna for an amazing performance on keys! :c)

Coming up this week, we’ll kick things off at the Cleveland Music Club Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm). Rob and Kevin guest host with me this week and our sponsor is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. Doc’s 1/2 pound burgers (w/fries) are $4.95 and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. This is always a fun time, so don’t miss it! :c)

On Saturday, we’re headed to the Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am) for our monthly appearance there. Come join us at the Tavern for some hot blues, cold beer, great food and fast, friendly service!

Hi gang!

Last Friday we appeared at Mapleside Farms’ “Concerts over the Valley” series for the second straight year. The rain held off long enough for us to perform one set, but just barely. Thanks to Charlie, Pat, Chris, Daryl, Billy, Jeni, Jess, Gary, Laura and everyone else who braved the rain to catch our performance.

Thankfully, we dried out in time for Saturday’s show at The Lampliter. It was a great night! Thanks to Marty, Mari, Ron, Sherri, Dave, Lorraine and everyone else who came out to party with us! Thanks also to Blake Kniola for turning in an awesome performance filling in for Kevin. :c)

This Friday, we return to Sassy’s Bar and Grill (10755 Ravenna Rd., Twinsburg, 9pm – 1am). Come join us at this great venue and help us party the night away with the Sassy’s gang!

This Saturday we play a private function in Freeport, Ohio.

Last Saturday found us at the Fairview Tavern. We had a great time! It was great to see Mary, Bob and Connie as well as the Tavern gang. :c)

Coming up this week…

This Friday we’ll return to Mapleside Farms (294 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, 6pm – 9:30pm) to appear in Mapleside’s Concerts over the Valley series for the second straight year. As a special treat, the North Coast Horns will join us for the second set, so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for a rockin’ good time!

On Saturday we’re back at the Lampliter Lounge (6339 Olde York Rd., Parma Heights) to rock the night away with our good friend Blake Kniola filling in for Kevin on bass. The staff and patrons there are awesome and love to party down and dance, so come join us! Be sure to bring your dancing shoes!

Hi gang!

I missed posting last week, so there’s a lot of ground to cover this week. Beginning on Wednesday, we were off to Wade Oval to back the Soul Men for the last Wade Oval Wednesday concert of the season. What a remarkable evening! It’s estimated there were upwards of 3,000 in attendance and it seemed like they were ALL up and dancing! Thanks to The Soul Men for asking us along! :c)

On Friday, we were on the road to Mantua to appear at The Deck. Thanks to Jen and Rachel for stopping by to party with us! :c)

Before I knew it, it was Monday and time for us to host the Lube Jam at the Sheffield Quaker Steak and Lube. We had a great time with Amber and Jimmy behind the bar and our jammers Jason Denney, Evan Denney, Clayton Higgins, Dale Bally, E.T. King, Dennis Raymond, Ken Hammer, Jeremy and Savannah Roeder!

Then it was Friday, we were back at Doc and Louie’s for our regular appearance there. It was great to see Marilyn, Pat, Charlie, Gene, Shelly, Joe, Lisa, Gary, Laura, Joe, Liz, Dawn and the rest of the Doc and Louie’s gang! We had a great time! :c)

Coming up this week, on Saturday, we make our monthly appearance at the Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am). Come join us and the Tavern gang for some rockin’ blues, great food, cold beer and just a heck of a good time. :c)

Also, remember to mark your calendars on Tuesday, September 18 as the Cleveland Music Club will be celebrating one year of jam nights at Doc and Louie’s!! There will be prizes, music and fun among other surprises! Please come and join us as we celebrate a year of great music, friends and fun…that YOU were a part of! Hope to see you there!
