Unfortunately, Shady Drive guitarist Rob Hayes was hit with a pretty nasty bug late last week, so Saturday’s performance at the Blue Turtle Tavern was canceled. We hope Rob’s feeling better very soon!

Coming up this week…

This Tuesday’s CMC Jam at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) will unfortunately be the last at that venue, as Doc and Louie’s is closing after over 18 years at that location. This week’s guest hosts are Drew Doman and Uncle Steve Smith. The sponsor each week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. Doc’s amazing burgers (w/fries) are $4.95 all night and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. There’s plenty of parking in Doc’s front and back lots, O’Reilly’s back lot and their front lot after they close at 9pm. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS6 keyboard and PA) is provided. This is a special night, folks. Doc has provided a great home for the CMC Jam for over two years and we have a lot of great memories of our time there. Come out and join us in thanking Doc for his support of live music and say goodbye to a great venue!

This Thursday evening, we’re playing a private function.

On Friday, we’ll head out to 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30am) for our monthly appearance there. C’mon out and have a bite to eat (the food rocks) and an adult beverage (Christmas Ale on tap and it’s frosty cold!) and help us rock the house!

From there, we’ll head north to Fairview Park on Saturday for our monthly appearance at the fabulous Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm-1:30am) for our monthly appearance there. Come party with us and enjoy one of the Tavern’s delicious dishes (try the $10 strip steak special!) and some frosty cold beverages while we play your favorite classic rock and blues tunes!

Friday’s show at Bullfrog’s didn’t draw a large crowd, but we certainly had fun! Many thanks to those that came out, including Joy, Bob, Julie, John, Effie and Don!

On to Saturday at Doc and Louie’s, where we teamed up with the amazing Mr. Chris Hanna and the fabulous North Coast Horns. Doc’s was jumpin’ with an awesome crowd all evening. Thanks to Sandy, Ken, Mary, Jon, the Dancing Marilyns, Vern, Mary, Bob, Barb, Dave, Troy, Liz, Joe, Pat, Charlie, Jamie, Larry, Debbie, Heidi, Mark and all of Doc’s gang that came out to party with us. We had a blast!

This Saturday, we’ll return to the Blue Turtle Tavern (29352 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 9pm – 1am). Our last appearance there was a blast and the house was packed, so come out this Saturday and join the fun!

Friday night’s show at the Savannah was an extraordinary evening. Thanks to Chris, Daryl, Pat, Charlie, Arlene, Rich, Sue, Gordon, Katy, Debbie, Karen, Courtney, Effie, Don, Susan, Bob, Cheryl and Ron for coming out to party with us and to Chris Hanna, Darrin Clark, Mark Resnick and Al Widmer for turning in a stellar performance!

Saturday night’s Bier Haus crowd was a bit light, but Chris, Daryl, Erika, Gary and Merle were there to hang out with us and we had a blast!

Coming up this week…

This Friday night, we’ll return to the place where it all started for us, Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville). It’s been a LONG time since we’ve played this room, so we’re looking forward to rockin’ it out! Come out and party with us and let’s work off that Thanksgiving dinner together! :c)

On Saturday, we’ll join up once again with the amazing Chris Hanna on keys and the fabulous North Coast Horns to rock the house at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm)! This past Saturday, with Chris Hanna on keys and the North Coast Horns, we played to a packed house at 42 Eighty Food and Drink. Thanks to Janet, Ed, Lori, Mike, Lisa (and her Mom and Dad!), Joe, Debbie, Laura, Gary, Merle, Coreen, Missy, George, James and all the 42 Eighty gang for coming out. What a great evening!

Coming up this week…

If you missed last Saturday’s show, you’re in luck! This Friday we’ll do it all over again with Chris Hanna on keys and the North Coast Horns, and head to the Savannah Bar and Grill (30676 Detroit Road, Westlake, 9pm – 1am) to rock the night away playing your favorite swing, blues, R&B and classic rock tunes. The Savannah features a spacious dance floor and great food and drinks, so dust off your dancin’ shoes and join us this Friday night for a rockin’ good time!

On Saturday, we’re back in trio configuration for our monthly appearance at The Bier Haus (17692 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, 8:30pm – Midnight). The food there is just amazing and they feature dozens of craft beers. Not to mention the owners and staff rock the house in their own right with service that can’t be beat. Come join us! You’ll be glad you did!

On Friday at Doc and Louie’s, it was great to see Pat, Charlie, Katy, Marilyn, Mary Beth, Trish, Gerald and Tom. Thanks to everyone who came out. We’re back at Doc and Louie’s next on November 30 with the North Coast Horns. :c)

Saturday’s Bier Haus show was a rockin’ good time! Thanks to Chris, Wally, Marina, Pat, Martin, Sue, Sean, Kathy, Donna and everyone else who stopped by to join the party! We’re back at The Bier Haus next on November 23.

Thanks to the guys and gals of Wish You Were Here for an absolutely amazing show on Friday night. If you haven’t seen this band, you really need to. They are at the House of Blues next on January 4th.

Coming up this week…

On Thursday, we’ll play a private event at the House of Blues.

Then, on Friday, we’ll appear at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 8pm – Midnight). Get out your dancin’ shoes and come on out and join the party! Doc’s burgers and wings are out of this world and the beverages are frosty cold. All we need is YOU! :c)

Friday’s show at 42Eighty was definitely a party! Emily and Ann rocked it behind the bar and the 42Eighty crowd was out in full force! Great night!

Saturday was even better as we returned to the Fairview Tavern. Many thanks to Blake Kniola for an excellent performance on bass and to Jen, Mary, Bob, Sandy, Ken, Heather and Nancy for stopping out to party with us!

Coming up next week….

Shady Drive is off on Friday and I’m headed down to the House of Blues to catch Wish You Were Here. This is always a hell of a show. There still may be a ticket or two left, so don’t hesitate!

Hi gang!

Last Saturday morning found us playing the Ford Engine Plant 1 Open House in Brookpark. The weather was not very cooperative, but we managed to squeeze two sets in between the rainstorms. It was fun despite the rain and having to spend the remainder of the day unpacking our gear and drying it out. :cX

Coming up this week…

This Friday we’ll be back at 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30am) to rock out with the gang. The food, drinks and service are awesome, so come join us and let’s kick this weekend off in Shady Drive style!

From there, we cruise north on Saturday to the Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am) for our monthly appearance there. The beer is cold, the food is amazing and the service is fast and friendly, so come on out and party with us and the Tavern gang for a rockin’ night!
